Mission Statement
Our mission is to centralize and clarify knowledge about Northern Emerald Tree Boas (Corallus caninus) & Amazon Basin Emerald Tree Boas (Corallus Batesii) to support both the species and the people who care for them. Emerald Tree Boas remain a relatively misunderstood species, with care, husbandry, breeding, and health information scattered across many sources, often conflicting. This website seeks to provide a collaborative resource for enthusiasts, new keepers, and breeders alike, consolidating accurate information on husbandry, feeding, enclosures, disease prevention, and breeding practices.
We are dedicated to promoting the welfare of the species, advocating for responsible ownership, and supporting ethical breeders. By creating an educational hub, we aim to empower keepers with the knowledge they need to maintain healthy, thriving Emerald Tree Boas, while raising awareness about the species’ needs and encouraging practices that contribute to their long-term survival in both captivity and the wild.
